Hi family and friends!

For those of you that don't know I recently joined the Open Books Associate Board. Open Books is a literacy non-profit organization in Chicago that supports various reading and writing programs/resources for students across the city. I first got involved in the organization when I started volunteering at the West Loop bookstore last December (shoutout to my friend Valerie for introducting me to Open Books in the first place).

While I have only been involved with Open Books for a short time it's extremely rewarding to see and be a part of an organization allows children to connect with reading and writing. And if you know me you know how much I love to read so being able to provide that joy and opportunity to others is priceless. Just $25 provides books for 1 child for an entire year through Open Book's partnership the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.

Thank you in advance for your generous donation. Any is amount is appreciated and evey dollar donated goes directly towards Open Books and the programs they provide to support students throughout the city.

I am so excited to be running the Rock 'n' Roll 10K in support of Open Books.

Thank you!!

Love,

Michelle
